I couldn't add my dr scholls insole because my big toe really wouldn't have room so I took it out. I wish they gave more vertical room for the big toe. I'm a size 10 and it's true to size, even has a little space in the back of my heel so with stockings on it doesn't FLOP per say, but i do notice the room. It's just fine without the stockings on. Over all its a great shoe though more comfortable than the normal heel, and I would buy it again despite the minor things i mentioned. It's a heel at the end of the day so there will always be SOME discomfort, but this without my stockings I could go all day in :)
