Base of hell is not solid wood so the shoe is not super heavy and it doesn't angle your foot at a steep angle either so they are actually fairly comfortable... except the fact that they are very tall and not much traction/tread at the bottom of the shoe so slips can happen easily.... but we know how that is, girls. I got them for a 70s costume but liked them so much I actually wear them regularly :)These shoes are comfortable but, PLEASE, Please, please add sole grippers to the bottom of these heels to prevent slipping on smooth surfaces.These shoes are SO comfortable and go with everything from shorts to a jumper to a dress. I did size down after reading the reviews, and they fit perfectly. Can wear out all night, or around town running errands, with no issues. HIGHLY recommend these if you love wearing heels more than any other shoesLooked great and fit great however as soon as I moved the heals squeaking really loud.
