Tight across the ties. Just too uncomfortable to wear. Pinched is the right word. They are nice shoes. Just did not fit.. I wear a 8 M. I did return them.I haven’t worn this shoe yet but I love the look and color.I wanted to love these but like some other reviewers said, they're a very stiff shoe and they run small. I ordered the size 6. Normally I wear a 5.5 or a 6 if narrow so I was surprised when the 6 was too tight on me. This is a round toe shoe and I usually only need a 6 in a pointy toe, so these are very narrow for the type of shoe they are. The material is also very stiff. The buckles were too snug on me too. The length of the shoe was ok though so I'm afraid if I size up to the 6.5, they will be too long. My advice is that these best fit narrow feet If you've got wider feet or even average feet, they may be uncomfortable. They don't stretch or give with your feet at all. The color is true to the picture and the style is beautiful. I love the look of these shoes but the fit is extremely uncomfortable. They came nicely packaged and quickly. The company even includes extra heels tips. Size up & see if yours fits better. I could foresee blisters and sore feet so I couldn't wear these and had to return. Maybe I will try the next size up cuz these are so adorable and the nude is such a versatile color. And the heel height is low enough for every day but still gives you a little boost.I usually wear 6 1/2 to 7 so I ordered size 7. They are way too tight. I am going to have to send them back. I thought about ordering a larger size because they are really cute but then they will be so long. These shoes just aren't proportioned right.I owned two pairs in this brand and style (different colors) for three years and loved the way the fit and how comfortable they were. They were my go-to work pump. However, after wear and tear I needed to replaced the white pair. After the first wear on my new pair, the heel started separating from the shoe. I was unable to fix it, so I bought a second replacement pair thinking it was just a bad pair. Different issue- first wear and the heal breaks at the arch. Luckily it was the other foot than the first replacement pair, so I was able to wear the left foot from the first replacement pair and the right foot from the second pair. Unluckily, I only got two or three wears out of the "third" (or hodge podged) pair when the heel started separating on one of the heals. I loved these shoes the first time around because they were cute, stylish and comfortable. However, after having purchased two replacement pairs, only to have defects in both pairs I have decided it's time to find a new go-to work pump.I needed a pair of brown pumps to match a dress for a wedding I am attending in late September. Although, these shoes are not at all shiny, they are cute & should do fine. I read the many reviews & am happy that I decided to order a 1/2 size larger (I normally wear a 7 & purchased a 7 1/2). The shoes are still a tad snug across the top, near my toes but I am wearing them periodically around the house & they seem to be loosening up a bit.Had to return shoe because it was very tight at toe box. I ordered a half size bigger because I LOVE the style of the shoe and I absolutely LOVE the color. The heel height was just perfect and it even came with heel insert to prevent foot from sliding down the shoe.Beautiful shoes. Fit perfectly. I wore them to work for a whole day and were very comfortable. Only one thing: There is a small patch on the side of one shoe that is slightly lighter than the rest of the shoe. Seems that the second coat of paint was not applied properly leaving the patch with a slightly lighter color than the rest of the shoe. But it is barely noticeable if someone is not looking for it.
